The positive figures have been recorded at Morris Site Machinery, a leading supplier and manufacturer of site power equipment.

It follows an intensive period of investment into research and development for the company, which it says has ‘borne fruit’ in terms of its lighting range and ‘energised’ UK and overseas sales strategies.

Breaking down the figures, the business has seen sales of its SMC mobile lighting towers rise by 83 per cent on last year.

Revenues on its Denyo generators and ArcGen welders, meanwhile, are up 277 per cent and 241 per cent on last year respectively.

Chief executive officer at the business Chris Morris said: “We’ve worked hard and continued to invest in the business over the past few years, adopting a tenacious strategic approach to achieve this position.

“It is therefore encouraging to see the increased sales recorded so far this year and a buoyant pipeline in front of us.”
