Money raised from the ball wil be used for key improvements that are taking place at the museum to create permanent exhibitions.

A VE Day dinner and dance held last year helped raise £1,500 and the centre want to raise even more this year.

The ball is taking place on Saturday, June 4, at the Drill Hall in Ropery Road, Gainsborough at 7pm.

Tickets are £15 and are available from the Heritage Centre in North Street, or they will be available from The Pink Orchidin Heaton Street.
