A fun way to learn

The day nursery had a host of fun activities including paddling pools, ball pools, football games and a water spray pool to give the children a treat over summer.

Manager Sue Thompson said despite the overcast weather the children and the staff still enjoyed it.

“It was a fun day for all the children,” she said.

“It was good for them to have some fun in the holidays and it makes it different from term time.”

Claremont organised a variety of activities throughout the summer to make learning more fun for the children.

Sue said they had trips out to Clumber Park where the children made dens.

“They had so much fun and didn’t realise they were learning,” she added.
