A1 northbound closed after cyclist crash
Police have closed the A1 northbound after a cyclist was hurt in a crash in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called to the junction near Blyth around 4.15am.
The cyclist, who had been hit by a lorry, was taken to hospital with severe head injuries.
The road remains closed pending further investigations and is expected to re-open later this morning.
