A16 closed between Louth and Ulceby Cross after serious collision

This evening, the Alford & Mablethorpe policing team said: "Emergency services are currently on scene at an RTC on the A16.

"The road will be closed until further notice between Kenwick roundabout and Ulceby Cross roundabout. Please take alternative routes and avoid the area."

Several comments on the police statement on social media have suggested that a motorcycle was involved in the incident, but this has not yet been confirmed by officials.

Lincolnshire Police have been contacted for further details.
