Aby man faces trial over alleged hammer threat and assault

White appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on February 16 where he pleaded not guilty to threatening the woman with an offensive weapon in a public place in St Wilfrid’s Close, Alford, on January 14.

However, it was deemed that the case was too serious to be dealt with in a magistrates’ court, and he was therefore sent to face trial at Lincoln Crown Court on March 15.

White also faces a separate charge of beating the woman during the same incident. No plea was entered, and the charge will also be heard at Crown Court.

White was granted conditional bail until his court appearance on March 15, and he is not allowed to contact the alleged victim in any way.
