Academy awards night at TVA
STUDENT success was celebrated at Trent Valley Academy (TVA) at a special Achievements Awards ceremony.
TVA principal Wendy Carrick welcomed Gainsborough Trinity manager Steve Housham as the guest of honour for the evening which celebrated record results of students who left the Academy last summer.
Awards went to Matthew Warwick and Jade Folan (Highest Achievers), Daniel James and Maegan Allsopp (Most Improved Students), Tyler Ley and Bryony Roberts (Distinguished Performance), James Hunt and Rebekah Parrott (Best Role Modes), Connor Flynn and Bethany Robins (Principal’s Award).
Assistant principal Peter Bradshaw said: “I was delighted to see so many former pupils returning to celebrate their brilliant achievements with us.”
