Air ambulance cash boost

LINCOLNSHIRE and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance is a cause close to the hearts of the people at Peacock and Binnington in Corringham.

The agricultural dealers have raised £586.76 for the charity through a tombola which was held during an open day.

“Our suppliers were very generous donating great prizes for the tombola,” said branch administrator Laura Males.

“One prize winner went away with a rather nice Fendt jacket worth about £250.”

Laura continued: “The air ambulance is an extremely important cause, and of particular significance to our industry and customers who are mainly farm workers.”

The cheque was gratefully received by LNAA fundraiser Steve Underwood.

The air ambulance provides an vital service for the most critically ill and injured patients across two counties.
