Alford councillors help provide Christmas lunch for lonely residents
Two District Councillors from the Alford ward helped isolated residents come together for a Christmas meal, thanks to ELDC’s Councillor Community Grant scheme.
Councillors Sarah Devereux and Graham Marsh awarded £150 altogether to Alford Corn Exchange Community Group to support them in holding a Christmas lunch, and enabling them to invite residents who live alone or have had a difficult year to help reduce isolation.
