Alford woman charged with stealing from her boss

A woman from Alford has appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court last week (Friday July 18) facing two charges of stealing from her employer.

Wendy McDonald, 52, of Hamilton Road in Alford, is charged with stealing £86 worth of scratch cards from her employer Gillian Marsh at Bilsby Garage on Alford Road between June 10 and June 20 last year.

McDonald is also charged with stealing £185 in cash from Gillian Marsh between the same dates.

McDonald pleaded not guilty to both counts at a previous court hearing on December 10 last year, and no further pleas were made or considered during the court hearing on Friday.

McDonald’s case was adjourned until Friday August 19, at which point she will appear at Skegness Magistrates’ Court again.

In the meantime, McDonald has been remanded on unconditional bail.
