Alleged '˜panda' robbers are bailed again

Two men who allegedly dressed up in panda onesies and robbed a Louth newsagents in November have had their bail extended until next month.

As reported previously, two local men aged 17 and 21 were arrested in December on suspicion of robbery, burglary and theft from a shop.

The incident took place at McColl’s newsagent in Eastgate, Louth on November 29 at around 7.30pm.

The two men were initially released on police bail until December 23 to allow the investigation to develop, and this was then extended until February 3.

This week, the men have been further bailed until March 8 while police enquiries continue.
