Ancaster recycling firm Mid UK and director due at Grantham magistrates' court

The Environment Agency is proceeding with a prosecution against Mid UK Recycling Ltd, and director Mowbray Christopher Mountain.

He is due to appear before Grantham magistrates on Monday, to answer the following charge – that between September 11, 2014 and September 1, 2015, on land at Barkston Heath, Ancaster, Mid UK, with the consent or connivance or attributable to neglect on the part of Mowbray Christopher Mountain as a director, failed to comply with Condition 1.1.1(a) of an environmental permit requiring them to operate in accordance with a management system that identifies and minimises the risks of pollution.

Mid UK Recycling Limited is also charged with failing to comply with this condition, between the same dates.
