However, Access to Higher Education Diplomas seek to bring these dreams within grasp, and students at Community Learning In Partnership (CLIP) have been working hard over the last year on their access studies.

One of their learners, Annie Sawyer, who lives near Gainsborough is progressing onto a degree in English and history at North Lindsey College.

Access to HE is expanding at CLIP this year with routes to nursing and health professions, humanities and social science and distance learning social science.
