Annual Geoff Findon Bikeathon is happening this weekend in Louth

The annual Geoff Findon Bikeathon event is taking place in Louth this Sunday (June 11).

It will start off from The Meridian Leisure Centre in Wood Lane, Louth.

The cycle rides have been organised by the Louth and Grimsby CTC and Bike Week.

All funds raised from the bikeathon is in aid of the Louth and District Hospice.

There are three cycle rides to choose from to take part in which includes; a 50-mile ride, setting off at 9am and a 30-mile ride taking off from 10am.

There is also a 10-mile fmaily ride, which starts off at 11am.

Everyone is welcome to take part in thise event.

Also if you want to take part at the last minute, then entries are being taken on the day at the leisure centre.

Just simply turn up on the morning, in plenty of time before your chosen rides begins and get yourself signed up, for a fun bike ride.

The Mayor of Louth, Councillor Pauline Watson, will aslo be there on the day to see off the family riders on their route.

Maps and instructions on where the rides lead will all be provided on the day.

So if you’re feeling like getting on your bike is a great way to kick start your Sunday morning, then why not pop along.
