The handmade creations, measuring a few inches from nose to tail, have been spotted in a range of places, such as the choir stalls and on the organ.

Angie said: “They are all over the church. They are all different and handmade.”
So far nobody has come forward publicly to claim responsibility.

The Standard know who is behind these wooden mice, but they wish to remain anonymouse.
The source told The Standard that 24 wooden mice had been deposited at the Stump, leaving open the possibility some may remain.
The Standard would like to hear from readers who have pocketed one of these wooden wonders.
