Anston: Local Plan drop-in consultation event today

Anston residents will be able to view Rotherham’s draft Local Plan for development at a drop-in session today (Tuesday 4th June).

It is your chance to speak to the people who have drafted the document and find out where thousands of houses and acres of employment land could be created over the next 15 years.

Rotherham Council has launched a 10 week consultation to ask for feedback on the draft plan.

A dozen drop-in sessions are scheduled across the borough to allow people to see the maps up close.

Planning officers and other representatives from the authority will be available to answer questions.

Drop in at Anston Parish Hall from 2.30pm - 6.30pm today.

Other drop-in sessions in the Dinnington area are:

- Monday 10th June, Maltby Full Life Church

- Thursday 13th June, Aston Parish Hall

- Tuesday 18th June, Wales Village Hall

- Thursday 20th June, Dinnington Resource Centre

All sessions are 2.30pm - 6.30pm.
