Appeal following crash

An Audi A3 was seen driving aggressively as it travelled towards Retford on Sunday 7th August.

The car became caught up in a queue of traffic in London Road where it then reversed into a silver BMW that had stopped behind.

The collision happened at about 8.50pm at the junction of Bracken Lane and Whinney Moor Lane.

The motorist then drove off from the scene and failed to report the accident.

PC Gary Glover, from Retford Police Station, said: “I am extremely keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or manner of driving displayed by the driver of the Audi A3 both before and after the collision.”

“There was significant damage caused to the BMW and it is extremely fortunate that the driver was not injured.”
