“It is due to the generosity of all our customers that helps us each year to raise money for charity, as well as a number of other ones,” Dawn said.

This has included some amazing donations made to the pub that have helped them raise the final total, alongside raffles and handmade cards.

East Coast Meats were also very generous again with their meat voucher and a wonderful collection of teddies also raised a large sum of money.

The presentation of money was made to Pat Wright from When You Wish Upon A Star at their recent Rock n Roll Bingo Night.

Pub-goer Nigel Westerby also made a lovely fruit cake that was raffled in aid of The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

That, plus other fund raising meant that £520 has also be raised and sent to the LNAACT.

The next charity event is on June 24, which is Armed Forces Day when there will be some special themed pies on sale throughout the day.
