Managing director at Kenwick Park Hotel, Stuart Flynn said: “Just 19-months ago our leisure and beauty club was completely devastated by a fire and we had to start from scratch.

“But now we have managed to bring forward a facility that was designed in 1994 up to date for 2016 and the future.

“One of our star features is of course the new pool hall which is really quite something and unique for the area.

“We are pleased to be able to bring the new [email protected] to the people of Louth.

“It has also helped to push forward a boost of 25 new jobs for local people in addition to the 12 employees that kept their jobs after the fire.”

Membership is near to reaching full capacity.

Anyone who enjoyed visiting Kenwick previously for beauty treatments, can now take advantage of the building’s Evergreen Spa.

The faciity is offering Elemis and Natural Spa Factory treatments and products.

The spa has ten treatment rooms, including two-double rooms, all named after trees inspired from the hotel’s beautiful green grounds.

Gemma Leafe, general manager at [email protected] told the Leader: “The new complex has exceeded all of our expectations.

“It has made all the hard work and time spent on the re-build worthwhile -including all the fine details we have put in for all to enjoy.

“It is really satisfying to be able to open our doors once again and show the members what we have been working on.

“We wanted to create a facility where everyone feels valued.

“ With separate individual experiences for our gym member and spa users.

“We will have spa days and spa stays in the hotel and lodges.
