£843 boost for Mablethorpe Poppy Appeal funds

The Broken Chain Brotherhood club revved up to raise funds of £843 and recently presented the money to the Mablethorpe and district Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.

The club made the tough decision to fold at the beginning of the year and this money was what was left over from membership fees and events they held to raise money last year.

Part of the money also came from sales of club trinkets.

When the club ceased, the group decided to present their final funds to a cause they was close to them, the RBL’s Poppy Appeal.
