Assault charge
A MAN charged with assaulting a local policeman has denied the offence.
Christopher Lee Roberts, from Grey Street, Gainsborough, stands accused of assaulting PC Ian Shaw on 18th August.
The 26-year-old was granted unconditional bail until 17th December when he must return to court for trial.
