Aston Park: Fire station fun next weekend

Aston Park firefighters will welcome members of the public into the station on Saturday 31st August for a fun-packed open day.

There will be a range of activities and demonstrations planned throughout the day, including a chip pan fire display, road traffic collision demonstration, fire engine rides, football activities with Rotherham United FC, a DJ playing music and a bouncy castle.

The event will be open between 10am and 4.30pm at Aston Park Fire Station, Worksop Road, Aston, Sheffield, S26 2FZ.

“The open day will be a fun day for all the family,” said station manager Cath Toovey.

“It will give the local people a chance to come along and to meet their local firefighters and to have a look around the station.”

Parking will be available in the field across the road at Parklands.
