Fourteen fundraisers from the Co-op in Aston, along with Millie the dog, ran the 5km course in very cold temperatures on Sunday morning.

They warmed up with a pre-run session, and wrapped up against the elements in their Santa outfits and beards.

The runners, aged between 10 and 60-years-old, were cheered on along the course by their family and friends.

Laurence Dolman crossed the finished after just 20 minutes, with many other runners finishing hot on his heels.

They raised £625 for The Carers Trust, the Co-op’s charity of the year.
