Donna Smith, 46, will hold a tea party in North Kyme Village Hall on Saturday, June 10, in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity and she has vowed to shave her hair off to raise even more money, with her niece, Maisy Clark, brandishing the clippers.

Donna, a mother-of-four, said: “I am doing this to raise more awareness of brain tumours and how they can affect any family, be it adults or children.

“Unfortunately, my niece has recently had a suspected brain tumour confirmed and surgery is planned in the near future. Maisy is a lovely, gorgeous, humorous little girl and we are positive for her future.”

The invitation has been thrown open to all between 1pm and 4pm with a raffle, children’s tombola and activities.
