Barnby Moor: Charity auction is a big success

The winners of a charity auction which raised more than £11,000 for Cancer Research UK enjoyed their prize at Ye Olde Bell.

The Cancer Research Summer Luncheon was held at the home of Mr and Mrs Lawrence and featured a charity auction.

The auction, which was conducted by Brian Fisher and raised around £5,000, saw a variety of prizes on offer from dog training to a week in a ski chalet.

Ye Olde Bell donated a dinner party for eight, the winners of which enjoyed an evening in the new Restaurant Bar 1650.
