Bassetlaw: Hospital launches new mental health service

Hospital staff will work closely with the mental health liason team to identify patients, aged 18 years and over, who are in need of a specialist mental health assessment.

Staff will provide advice, guidance and support to patients, families and carers.

The team will also provide education and staff training to raise awareness and reduce sigma around mental health conditions as well as improving rates of early referral of patients to this specialist service.
