Bassetlaw: Hospital staff are among the healthiest in the region
Staff at Doncaster and Bassetlaw hospitals had the lowest sickness rates in South Yorkshire, and the third-best in the whole Yorkshire and Humber region, according to the latest national figures published by the Health and Social Care Information Centre.
Between April and June this year, staff had an average sickness absence rate of just 3.43 per cent.
Dawn Jarvis, director of people and organisational development said: “We are very proud of our excellent attendance rate and our hardworking and committed staff who come to work each day to care for patients or provide vital support and office-based services.”
