Bassetlaw: MP Mann is going up in the world
Bassetlaw MP John Mann has joined an expedition to climb the equatorial summits of Iliniza Norte, Cayambe and Cotopaxi in Ecuador, one of the world’s highest active volcanoes,to help raise £10,000 for the British Legion’s Battle Back Centre in Lilleshall.
The group also includes group two other MPs, serving soldiers and injured veterans.
“The expedition is an ambitious challenge, and I am sure that people will get behind our campaign,” said Mr Mann.
The climb takes place 25th May to 10th June and people can donate to the cause via the JustGiving page at www.justgiving.com/teams/TRBLEcuador2014
