Bassetlaw talent acts to perform at top showcase
Ruthless 9, Midnight Swan and OAV will join a host of other acts on the stage at Mansfield Palace Theatre on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd February.
Notts County Council organised a series of events last month for 49 acts across the county, and around half have now made it to the main event having impressed a panel of professional artists.

Hide AdCounty Youth Arts manager Andy Dawson said the main showcase promised to be an exciting display of music, dance and acting talent.
“The auditions took place over three days and everyone who made it through that stage can be justly proud of their achievements,” he said.
“It is not so much a talent competition but very much a celebration of the diverse talents, ages and abilities of artists in a range of artistic disciplines.”
“We are now eagerly looking forward to the main showcase - it should be a fantastic occasion again.”

Hide AdNotts County Council hope that this year’s event will be as successful as last year’s Showcase event where around 300 young people performed to packed audiences alone last year as well as those taking part in activities behind the production scenes.
Colleague Reg Clegg, events manager for County Youth Arts said: “Showcase takes place every year and each time we see incredibly talented local young people.”
“We don’t cherry pick acts – we look at staging a diverse range of performances and young people from the county regardless of their backgrounds and experience.”
“We provide professional support for the young people to get the best performances they can deliver.”
