Big night out bumps up the cash for travelling teenager
Teen volunteer Olivia Johnson of Epworth raised a great cash sum by holding a rock’n’roll night in Doncaster.
Olivia will travel to Zimbabwe this summer to work with orphans who have Aids, and has to finance the trip.
She said: “I am now about £440 off my total which is amazing. I have to pay the full amount next month and then I need equipment and resources to take with me so I intend to push on with fund raising. Any money I have left after my visit will go towards an event for all my sponsors and supporters.” South Axholme School held a non-uniform day for Olivia.
