Bike worth £700 stolen in burglary

Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Sibsey.

Between January 23-30 outbuildings at a farm in the Westhouses area near Sibsey were entered and a number of items stolen.

The stolen items included:

* Sthil chainsaw

* red and black hole borer

* yellow electric water pump

* red Honda generator

* red Honda petrol lawnmower

* Chop and saw table

* Petrol jet washer

* Various hand tools and shovels.

Also stolen was a Trek 13 cycle. This cycle is white and red in colour with black shoes on the pedals and has a carbon fibre frame and disc brakes. The cycle is worth £700.

Police believe due to the bulky nature of some items that at least two people would have been involved and would have required a van or similar to remove them.

It also appears that access was along a drainage ditch across fields.
