Binbrook man to face jury trial over '˜death crash' last summer
Joseph Edward Thompson, 25, of Spring Bank in Binbrook, has been sent to face trial at Lincoln Crown Court after being charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Thompson is charged with causing the death of Marian Dixon, who passed away on August 12 last year, two weeks after a two vehicle collision on the B1203 at Swinhope on July 28.
Thompson appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on April 7, where the court directed that he must face trial by jury.
He is due to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on May 5, and was granted unconditional bail until that date.
