Blaze destroys summer house in Worksop back garden

ARSONISTS could be responsible for a fire which destroyed a back-garden summer house in Worksop this morning (Wednesday).

Firefighters from Worksop were called to the blaze in Anston Avenue at around 5.40am.

Neighbours raised the alarm and woke the occupants after hearing noises in the garden.

Crews spent about 20 minuted putting the fire out, and an 11kg propene cylinder was found nearby.

A spokesperson for Notts Fire and Rescue Service said an investigation had been launched to determine if the blaze was deliberate.
