Bluebell Wood gets a cash boost

The money was raised in September when 189 people took part in a Park 2 Park bike ride, which took cyclists on a 35km round trip along the Trans Pennine Trail.

Aubrey Hill organised the ride in aid of Bluebell Wood, after his friend’s granddaughter was cared for there.

“You see the parents and the way they come out the other side of things. There’s lots of positivity. The staff do a tremendously good job here,” he said.

Aubrey also organised last year’s Park 2 Park event raising £7,300 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
