Body found in drainage dyke in Lincolnshire

A member of the public discovered the body in in Sutton Road, Trusthorpe, and alerted police at 8.30am on Monday.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire police said: "An underwater search unit is on scene to assist with recovering the body on behalf of the coroner.

"The body is believed to be that of a man but he has not been identified at this time. His death will be treated as unexplained until the results of a post-mortem are known."
