Boston Choral Society to perform at Heckington church

Following hot on the heels of the Boston Orchestra, it is now the turn of the Boston Choral Society to entertain at St Andrew's Church in Heckington.

Their concert, entitled “Choral Copland” is a selection of music by Aaron Copland, the American composer – a very varied range, from his arrangements of hymns to Hoe Down and children’s songs.

The concert is on Saturday June 11 at 7.30pm in the church.

Andrew Key, chairman of the village church’s Heritage and Tourism Group said: “After last week’s concert by the Boston Orchestra, we are delighted to welcome the Choral Society to the wonderful medieval setting of St Andrew’s in Heckington – that has become established as a fantastic venue for music of all kinds.”
