“I was one among many who did a sponsored clown walk with the lovely Joanne Mallaby and now also find ourselves like so many, in a position of needing their facilities.
“I may not raise much but I hope it inspires others to consider doing what they can for our local charities as we are lucky to have them.
“Why my hair? Because those who lose theirs to cancer and the treatment that follows don’t have a choice and to show we walk by their side proudly.”

“Breast cancer can affect men and women and the reason I chose to shave my hair is that to a lot of people it’s their pride and joy and part of their whole persona.”
