BREAKING NEWS: Mablethorpe lifeguards help '˜unconscious' child

Two senior RNLI lifeguards in Mablethorpe came to the rescue after they were called to a one-year-child who had stopped breathing.

The lifeguards quickly assisted when they found the child, reported to be called Jenson, was unconscious during an incident in the resort on Bank Holiday Monday (May 29).

According to reports, the brave youngster has made a quick recovery and he was spotted with mum Nicole Manderson in Mablethorpe today (Wednesday, May 31).

The East of England RNLI LIfeguards posted an image of Jenson on social media with one of the quick-thinking lifeguards who helped him.

Information on the social media page said that Jenson had been in hospital for two days.

The Leader has approached the RNLI for comment.
