BREAKING: Serious crash blocking A1 at Grantham has car catches fire

A serious crash is blocking the A1 southbound near Grantham this afternoon, Thursday September 8.

One car is on fire and police and fire crews are at the scene.

The crash has taken place north of Little Ponton and traffic is back to the A52 turning.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
