British Transport Police in operation at Sleaford Railway Station

British Transport Police (BTP) were involved in an operation in the precincts of Sleaford Railway Station yesterday (Saturday) evening.

One eyewitness reported seeing “about four or five police cars crowded around the station, blocking the road” at about 7.30pm.

Lincolnshire Police said today there was an operation involving British Transport Police, but so far we have had no details about what happened.

• No one at BTP was available to speak to the Standard today.
