Burglars flee in stolen car

A GROUP of burglars stormed into the home of a Retford couple - demanding cash before making off with their car.

Four to seven men barged into the house in Holmes Road around 5.30pm yesterday (Thursday 1st December).

They threatened both the man and woman for money before taking a set of keys and subsequently their black Nissan car.

The words ‘Die Hard’ are printed on both sides of the vehicle.

The man, 53, was taken to hospital with minor injuries following the intrusion.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage and conducting house-to-house enquiries in the surrounding area.
