Earlier, firefighters from Mablethorpe used a water hose reel to put out a bin fire on South Promenade shortly after 11.20pm last night.

This followed reports of a bush fire in Skegness Road, Partney an hour earlier which a fire crew from Spilsby attended.

However, it turned out to be controlled burning.
