Mablethorpe Coastguards were paged by Humber Coastguard on Monday to assist H.M coastguard Skegness with reports from Lincolnshire Police of a high risk missing female at Gibralter Point Nature Reserve.

An initial search hub and Wrangle Coastguard assisted with the search both on foot and in vehicles.

RNLI Skegness launched their inshore lifeboat and conducted and shoreline search from Skegness Pier towards Gibraltar Point.

Lincolnshire Police used their drone and located a heat source across the river at Gibraltar Point and with the help from the inshore lifeboat two Coastguards were assisted across the river whilst a team drove around to make entry from the south.

A full search was conducted but nothing was found.

During this search, the Coastguard received an immediate from the Ops room requesting assistance with an unconscious male just beyond the pier, so a team were deployed along with the RNLI team to help with extricating the casualty from the beach into the waiting ambulance from East Midlands Ambulance Service.

The emergency services then received news the missing female had been located on the beach at Seaview.

All teams were then stood down.
