The school has been revealed to have had 98 per cent of its pupils achieve five-plus A*-C grade GCSEs including English and maths.

Although this is down on the last few years - the school having a 99 per cent rate in 2014 and 100 per cent rate in 2012 and 13 - the school remains top of the county.

However, Caistor Yarbrough doesn’t fare as well, with only 25 per cent of its pupils getting the five-plus A*-C grades, down on last year’s 51 per cent.
