The Holyhead Lifeboat Crew launched the appeal for a new inshore lifeboat named in the memory of Craig Steadman, a dedicated lifeboatman who died aged 26 in 2016.

Choir member Joe Gibson handed over the cheque to Margaret and Graham Smith of Caistor RNLI at the choir’s weekly practice, in the Methodist Church Hall.

The donation was from the proceeds of the annual Christmas Wassail held in Caistor Parish Church.
