A team of cancer information specialists will be there to answer questions, give advice and inform people about local cancer services and support.

The unit will be in Brigg Market Place from 9am to 3pm.

The service is open to anyone, no matter what your concern - whether you’re living with or beyond cancer, or are a loved one or carer for someone who is.

“When you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, it’s crucial that you have access to the right information so that you can make informed choices about your treatment and care,” said Sarah Weston, a Macmillan Information and Support Specialist on the unit,

“That’s why we’re encouraging anyone with questions to come and see us, whether it’s about prostate or any other type of cancer.

“We know that cancer doesn’t just affect your health, it can impact on your whole life, so we’re also here to give advice about issues like your finances, diet and exercise, or caring for someone with cancer – and you can even just stop by for a chat.”
