Caravan sites '˜underpaying' in East Lindsey
A business rates review has revealed that some caravan sites in East Lindsey have been underpaying.
Although he did not identify them in his statement to members, district council leader Coun Craig Leyland offered an assurance that “the Valuation Office has rectified the situation” at ELDC’s full council meeting on February 24.
The leader said that business rates would become an increasingly important source of income for ELDC in the wake of ongoing reductions in funding from Whitehall.
