Cash for community groups in Skegness area

East Lindsey councillors have been awarding cash to community groups in the Skegness area.

Coun Colin Davie has awarded £500 to both Addlethorpe Parish Council and Ingoldmells Parish Council.

In Addlethorpe, the grant is to buy a new village noticeboard and in Ingoldmells it will help to provide a party in the park to celebrate to Queen’s 90th birthday.

More grants have been awarded by Couns Paul Hibbert-Greaves and Mel Turton-Leivers, who have together given £446 to Anderby Parish Council for the Anderby Volunteer Emergency Response Team to install a defibrillator in Anderby Creek.

Coun Alan Vassar has also awarded £300 to Willoughby and District History Group to produce a newsletter and create a website.
