Cash grants up for grabs to Isle groups

Community groups across the Isle can apply for ongo Community Devlopment Grants for the fourth year running.

The ongo organisation will offer grants of up to £2,000 to those who can show that their project benefits local communities, particularly those communities in which North Lincolnshire Homes has tenants.

Groups must be based within North Lincolnshire, and must also have adopted a formal constitution (or be working towards one), have their own bank account and be able to show direct tangible benefits to tenants of North Lincolnshire Homes.

ongo has established key themes; ‘Education & Skills’, ‘Digital Inclusion’ ‘Employment & Enterprise’ and ‘Live Better Lives’, and each group must address one or more of these sectors to be eligible for entry.

To be in with a chance of receiving a grant, community groups must apply by March 13 using a form provided at www.ongo.co.uk, or alternatively, paper forms can be requested by calling Chris Baker on 01724 844848.
