Cement mixer and mobility scooter stolen in Manby

Lincolnshire Police have launched an investigation after two shed burglaries took place in Manby on Tuesday (March 29).

A property on Manby Middlegate was burgled between 8.30am and 4pm on Tuesday, in which the offenders entered farm outbuildings and stole a Belle MiniMix cement mixer. Offender also forced their way into a shed and stole a 4-in-1 multi garden tool. (Incident 293 of March 29).

A shed in Carlton Park, Manby, was broken into overnight on Tuesday. The stolen items include a battery for a mobility scooter, a Stanley hammer drill, a Makita jigsaw, a garden vacuum and a red fishing tackle box. (Incident 124 of March 30).

PCSO Sally Hewitt added: “We have seen an increase in burglaries in the Manby-Grimoldby area of late, so please report any suspicious behaviour immediately to Lincolnshire Police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
